How EIS Is Calculated in Malaysia
EIS, also known as the Employment Insurance System or SIP, is an employment insurance contribution under PERKESO. It is normally calculated based on monthly wages, wage class and contribution rules. Employee EIS is deducted from salary, while employer EIS is paid by the employer on top of salary.
